Download and install your app
We offer three paths to access romfuns on mobile. The Android APK is our native app, delivered directly to your device without an intermediary app store. iOS users access romfuns through their mobile Safari browser, then add a shortcut to their home screen for quicker access. Web users on any device can visit romfuns in their browser and enjoy a fully responsive layout optimised for touch.
Installation steps
- Download the romfuns APK file to your Android device from our secure server, or open romfuns in Safari on iOS and tap the share icon.
- For Android, tap the APK file in your downloads folder and allow installation from unknown sources if prompted; for iOS, select "Add to Home Screen" from the menu.
- Open the installed app or home-screen shortcut, then log in with your email or username and password linked to your romfuns account.
- Once logged in, navigate to your account settings, confirm your payment method (DANA, e-wallet, mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, or bank), and start browsing matches and markets.
App vs. browser: when to use each
Our native Android app stores recent match data and betting slip information on your device, so it loads faster than the browser even if your internet slows momentarily. The app also sends push notifications when a match starts, when your deposit clears, or when a bet settles—keeping you informed without forcing you to check manually. If you prefer not to install an app, the web version on any browser works identically; the trade-off is that notifications arrive only if you leave the browser tab open. iOS users cannot install a native app because romfuns does not appear in Apple's App Store, but the home-screen shortcut method is nearly as fast and requires no special permissions.
App strengths
- Offline match-data cache
- Push notifications for scores and deposits
- Faster load times on poor connections
- Direct access to device camera for ID verification
Browser strengths
- No download or install step
- Works on iOS without workarounds
- Always up-to-date (no separate updates)
- Uses less device storage
Device compatibility and system requirements
Our Android app requires Android 7.0 (API level 24) or later. Most phones released in the past five years meet this requirement; if you are unsure, open Settings → About Phone → Android version and compare it to your device's supported list. For iOS, the mobile Safari browser works on iOS 12 and later; if you cannot update your iPhone or iPad to this version, the web version at romfuns.net in any compatible browser remains accessible. We also support the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, and Edge on desktop computers and tablets, ensuring that whether you are in Jakarta, Bandung, or Medan, you can access romfuns from nearly any modern device.
Common installation issues and solutions
Android devices sometimes block installation from unknown sources as a security precaution. If you see a warning when tapping the APK, open Settings → Apps & notifications → Advanced → Install unknown apps, find your browser or file manager in the list, and toggle permission on. After installation completes, you can toggle the permission back off if you prefer. On iOS, the first time you add romfuns to your home screen, Safari may ask for permission to access your location or camera for identity verification; these permissions are optional but recommended because they speed up account verification. If the app crashes, clear your device's app cache (Settings → Apps → romfuns → Storage → Clear Cache on Android, or Settings → General → iPhone Storage on iOS) and reinstall. We also maintain a support page for install troubleshooting linked from the app's help menu.
Data, permissions, and account security on mobile
The romfuns app requests permission to access your device's camera (for taking ID photos during account verification), location (to confirm your jurisdiction for eligibility), and notifications (to alert you to match starts and deposit confirmations). These permissions are separate from your account security: even if you deny camera access, you can still upload an ID photo manually through your account settings. Our app encrypts all communication between your device and our servers using TLS 1.2 or later, the same standard used by banks. Your login credentials, payment details, and betting history are stored securely and are never visible to other apps on your device. If you lose your phone, log in to romfuns on another device and change your password immediately; this blocks access from the lost phone. We also recommend enabling two-factor authentication (SMS or email) in your account settings on the app—a small step that prevents unauthorised access even if someone obtains your password.
